one i went to the canadian premiere of the movie "hard candy"! how cool did i feel, honestly... it opened just this friday but i saw it two weeks ago, so i feel special somehow. it was playing as part of a horror movie filmfest here in montreal. the movie was good, but i expected it to be much deeper, considering it deals with pedophelia. it stayed remarkable shallow, though, opting for thrills instead of thought. still entertaining. worth the money. // two i saw five movies in one week, by the way. went to the theatre five times. well... three different theatres. they don't play the indie stuff at the cineplex. it was a fun week and a new record for me lol. // three seven school days left until summer! mwahahaha yessssss. it hasn't even hit me yet. not used to summer coming so early. i need a damn job tho. i've applied at 15 places or so and no callbacks yet. they're not actively hiring yet so i have nothing else to do but wait and maybe apply at more places. // four fuck i need a boyfriend. its getting boring all by myself lol. // five why am i a myspace whore. why. // six the silent hill movie was a mixed bag. i love the games to death, so of course i enjoyed it because they nailed the atmosphere better than i could've imagined. visuals were awesome. the story, however, was butchered. they cut out a whole dimension of the story for no reason and opted for a witch-hunting cult instead. fucking retarded. the pacing was poor, the actors were terrible, and the dialogue was laughable. but whatever, i can't get over those damn visuals. so true to the look of the games. since i only owned the first and fourth games, though i've played all four multiple times, i went on ebay within a week and bought the second and third so i can own 'em all. oh yeah... // ..end transmission
